We've all seen the cute memes and heard the adorable sayings...but is our breath really that powerful?
In the midst of chaos, that deep breath sends a signal to your brain to calm down. The brain then tells your body, "we're relaxed!" and blood pressure drops and heart rate slows. Your muscles will begin to relax, the oxygen will revitalize all your systems, and endorphins may be released, all contributing to mental clarity, a sense of stability, and improved mood.
Breath, doing so much more than just keeping us alive, since the beginning of time.
